Winefred River is a boreal stream in northeastern Alberta that includes all named and unnamed tributaries and outflows within 10 km of Winefred Lake, located northeast of Lac La Biche and southwest of Fort McMurray. Open June 1 to Oct 31 with a bait ban (subarea NB4); species limits: walleye 1 fish 45–50 cm, northern pike no retention (0 fish), yellow perch 15 fish, burbot 10 fish, lake whitefish 10 fish.
