West Prairie River is a stream in northwestern Alberta (subarea NB2) located in a remote boreal area. The fishery is open June 16 to Oct. 31 and bait is allowed; species limits are walleye 1 fish 45–50 cm, northern pike 0 (no retention), yellow perch 15, burbot 10, and lake whitefish 10, with other species subject to general NB2 regulations.
