Overview
Wabasca River is a northern Alberta stream near the hamlet of Wabasca, connecting North and South Wabasca Lakes and flowing past tributaries including Sandy Lake. Regulations vary by reach: the portion downstream of North Wabasca Lake to South Wabasca Lake (and most tributaries except the Loon, Muskwa and Nipisi Rivers) is open June 1–Oct 31; bait is allowed; walleye 1 over 50 cm, northern pike 2 over 63 cm, burbot 10 fish, goldeye 10 fish.
