ES1: Upper Kananaskis Lake - Alberta Fishing
Upper Kananaskis Lake is a mountain lake in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park in Kananaskis Country, near Kananaskis Village and southwest of Canmore, Alberta. The portion of the lake within 100 m of the Rawson Creek inlet is open July 16 to May 31, while the remainder of the lake is open year‑round. The lake is under a bait ban and has a one‑trout daily limit; rainbow and cutthroat trout are subject to a size restriction of over 50 cm for retention.
