NB2: South Heart River - Alberta Fishing
South Heart River is a stream in northwestern Alberta (subarea NB2) with regulated sections between the South Heart Reservoir and the West Prairie River, and from the confluence with the West Prairie River downstream to Buffalo Bay and its tributaries. The section between the reservoir and the West Prairie River is open June 1 to Oct 31 (bait allowed); the downstream section is open June 16 to Oct 31 (bait allowed). Walleye are limited to 1 fish 45–50 cm in both sections, and northern pike are closed to retention (0 fish).
