Pembina River
Pembina River is a stream in west‑central Alberta near the village of Sangudo and the Lodgepole area. The headwater reach (downstream to Sec. Rd. 753 near Lodgepole, including Dismal and Rat creeks) is closed to angling year‑round; the mainstem from Sec. Rd. 753 downstream to Hwy. 43 (near Sangudo) and the reach downstream of Hwy. 43 are open June 1 to Oct 31, with bait allowed in open sections. Regulations (Subarea ES3): Headwaters to Sec. Rd. 753 — closed all year. Mainstem Sec. Rd. 753 to Hwy. 43 (open June 1–Oct 31) — walleye 3 (over 50 cm), northern pike 3 (over 63 cm), mountain whitefish 5 (over 30 cm), goldeye 10 fish, burbot 10 fish; Downstream of Hwy. 43 (open June 1–Oct 31) — walleye 3 (over 63 cm), goldeye 5 (over 30 cm), lake whitefish 10 fish, burbot 10 fish.
