Overview
North Wabasca Lake is a lake in northern Alberta near the community of Wabasca (Wabasca‑Desmarais), known for walleye and northern pike fishing. Regulations vary by portion: the area south of a line drawn from the northern boundary of Wabasca Reserve 166b in NW 35-80-26-W4 to the point of land in the east half of NE 31-80-25-W4 (including the mouth of the Willow River and the Wabasca River channel) is open June 1 to March 1, while the remainder of the lake is open May 15 to March 31; bait is allowed in both areas.
