NB3: Mikkwa River - Alberta Fishing

Mikkwa River (Little Red River) is a northern Alberta stream in subarea NB3, situated in the boreal region near Fort Vermilion; it supports typical northern species such as walleye, northern pike and burbot. Regulations: open June 1 to Oct. 31; bait allowed in river only; walleye limit 3 over 43 cm, northern pike limit 3 over 63 cm, burbot limit 10 fish.
