Medicine River

Medicine River is a stream in central Alberta, west of Red Deer; this listing covers the mainstem and all tributaries and is open June 16 to March 1, with only maggots allowed as bait. Regulations (Subarea PP2): no trout may be retained; northern pike limit 3 over 63 cm; mountain whitefish limit 3 over 30 cm; goldeye limit 10 fish; burbot limit 2 fish but retention of burbot is prohibited Feb 1–Mar 1.
