Lower Kananaskis Lake is a mountain lake in Kananaskis Country near Kananaskis Village, southwest of Canmore, known for scenic alpine surroundings and trout fishing. The northwest bay (as described in NE 11-20-9-W5) is closed all year; the remainder of the lake is open year-round with a bait ban, a limit of 1 trout, and retained rainbow and cutthroat trout must be over 50 cm.
