Kakwa River is a stream in northwestern Alberta within the Kakwa Wildland area, north of Grande Cache; this covers the mainstem and its tributaries except Lynx Creek. Open June 1 to Oct 31, bait is prohibited; retention of trout is zero (no trout may be kept) and mountain whitefish retention is zero, and anglers must follow ES4 subarea rules for any other species.
