Embarras River

The Embarras River is a small stream in west-central Alberta (subarea ES3), located east of Edson; this description covers the mainstem and its tributaries except the Erith River. Fishing is open June 16 to Oct. 31, a bait ban is in effect, and species-specific retention limits are mountain whitefish 0 fish, rainbow trout 0 fish, and brook trout 0 fish (other species follow subarea regulations).
