Ells River is a stream in northern Alberta (subarea NB4), located north of Fort McMurray. Open June 1 to Oct 31 with a bait ban; species-specific limits are: walleye — 3 over 50 cm; northern pike — 3 over 63 cm; mountain whitefish — 5 over 30 cm; burbot — 10 fish; lake whitefish — 10 fish.
