ES1: Crowsnest Lake - Alberta Fishing
Crowsnest Lake is a mountain lake in southwestern Alberta near Crowsnest Pass (Coleman/Blairmore), fished for trout, lake trout and mountain whitefish. The lake is open year‑round; bait is allowed but live bait fish are prohibited; daily limits on the lake are 5 trout total (maximum 3 lake trout) and mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm. Tributaries have seasonal restrictions: June 16–Aug 31 tributaries are open with a bait ban (brook trout 2, mountain whitefish 5 over 30 cm and no retention of other trout); Sept 1–Oct 31 tributaries are open with a bait ban and no trout or mountain whitefish may be kept.
