Cold Lake is a large lake on the Alberta–Saskatchewan border in northeastern Alberta, adjacent to the city of Cold Lake, and is popular with anglers for walleye, northern pike, lake trout and whitefish. Open May 15 to Mar 31; bait allowed; species limits: walleye — 3 fish, over 50 cm; northern pike — 1 fish, over 63 cm; lake trout — 1 fish 65–70 cm from May 15–Sept 14 and Nov 16–Mar 31 (closed Sept 15–Nov 15); lake whitefish — 10 fish; burbot — 10 fish; yellow perch — 15 fish.
