Overview
Abraham Lake (Bighorn Lake) is a large reservoir in west-central Alberta near Nordegg, noted for its lake trout and other trout species as well as mountain whitefish. Open year-round with a bait ban in effect; limits: total trout 5 (lake trout limit 3), mountain whitefish 5 with a 30 cm minimum size, and rainbow and cutthroat trout subject to a 30 cm minimum size.
